Presidents on Display

History is brought to life at the Fulton County Schools’ Teaching Museum North in Roswell. Several of our residents recently visited the museum and were treated to a guided tour with the artist who created the life-sized painted figures featured in an exhibit about U. S. Presidents.

Fulton County Schools offers two Teaching Museums, one located in Roswell and the other in Hapeville. The facilities provide hands-on educational exhibits and arts-based programming that engage students, from kindergarten through twelfth grade, in the Humanities, Language Arts, Mathematics, Sciences, and Fine Arts, with the goal of improving student achievement.

Good Joints Are a Key Link to Healthy Aging

Exercise has been identified as a key component of aging gracefully, and has been linked with not only improved physical health but also better cognitive performance. The maintenance of fully functioning joints is an important part of enabling active seniors to participate in health-promoting athletic activity, experts agree.
