- Minimum one year healthcare or hospital experience (stable job history preferred)

Candidates must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Should have availability to reliable transportation (no bus service available).

The ideal candidate would sort linen into appropriate receiving carts, separate heavily soiled linen into designated classification and ensure it is washed according to established guidelines. Use chemicals prescribed for cleaning lines operates laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, iron, and pressing equipment. Loads and unloads laundry into washers and dryers, clean machines and equipment in the laundry wash and linen processing areas, cleans carts. Follow infection control and universal precautions when handling soil linens, takes precautions in keeping with OSHA standards and other applicable regulations when working with hazardous chemicals, materials and power equipment and use personal protective equipment as required.

Part Time

Shift: Need to be available to work 4 pm to 9 pm. Monday through Saturday. Sundays and Holdiays shift is 9 am to 4 pm. Weekends and Holdiays are a must to work.

The ideal candidate would be organized, friendly, and multi-tasked and can learn new skills quickly. Experience is not required for this position, but preferred.

Candidate must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.  and be able to have a cooperative and friendly attitude toward residents, guests, and other employees and able to work well independently given proper direction and delegate responsibility as directed by supervisor.
